Privacy & how we contact businesses

FluxCore Creations is the trading name of Lewis Jeffrey, a sole trader based in Enfield, London. Contact: fluxcorecreations@outlook.com.

Who we contact

We offer websites to local businesses that do not appear to have one. We email limited companies at business addresses. Sole traders and partnerships are only ever contacted by post, never by marketing email, unless they have asked us to email them.

Where the information comes from

• Public business listings: OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps (business name, address, category, any listed website).
• Companies House (to confirm a business is a limited company).
• Contact details the business publishes itself online, such as on its own pages or directory listings.

Why we use it

Our legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to businesses (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We only keep what we need to make the offer and to make sure we never contact a business twice or after it has opted out.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any email, or email fluxcorecreations@outlook.com with the word STOP. We will remove your details from our outreach straight away and keep only a note of the opt-out so you are never contacted again.

How long we keep it

Outreach details are kept for up to 12 months from our last contact, unless you become a customer. Opt-out notes are kept indefinitely so we can honour them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
